We are Recruiting for Full and Part Time Security Guards in Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland

Purpose: Responsible for delivering the security service for our client and for the day-to-day protection of persons and property.
Reporting to: Noonan management team

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
  • Provide vigilant security with a strong customer focus;
  • Carry out security activities to the standards confirmed in the site specification and to the standards trained and defined by the Security Industry Authority;
  • Ensure client premises and surrounding area is safe and secure by carrying out patrols internally and externally on site and permitting only authorised personnel;
  • React to any incident or event in order to ensure the safety of persons and property in line with SIA training, Client requirements and Noonan policies and procedures;
  • Report any suspicious items or activities;
  • Alert management of any serious incidents requiring special attention;
  • Maintain regular and close contact with all parties necessary to deal effectively with all issues arising;
  • Manage access/egress of vehicles;
  • Receive visitors to site and deal with queries in a professional and courteous manner, providing advice and assistance as necessary;
  • Proactively operate CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity and capturing footage of an evidential nature if required;
  • Maintain standards for security of information;
  • Mentor trainee Security Officers as required;
  • Complete duty logs in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Develop and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues;
  • Articulate incident information for the purposes of crime management and to support decision making;
  • Utilise personal skills and knowledge to add value through effective decision making;
  • Comply with Health and Safety legislation;
  • Alarm system management;
  • General administration tasks;
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and as required by the nature of the role.

Person Specification
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • SIA Manned Guarding or SIA Door Supervisors licence
  • SIA CCTV Licence
  • Computer Literate
